I Need Help With Parallel Parking
I failed my drivers license test last year because I barely practiced, I’ve been practicing for two months now. I am much better then before and should have no problem passing the test. The only thing I’m worried about is the parallel park, I passed that the last test I did but for some reason now I’m having a harder time with it. Seems inconsistent, like half my parallel parks are perfect and half I turn the wheel too soon or too late. My test is on the 18th, I’m really hoping I pass.
Do you guys have any tips?

Richstrongs picture pretty much nails it.
The closer you pull up to the car infront the better for fitting into a tight spot.
Always cranking wheel full force. And each car is a little different for honing the best point for when to crank wheels depending on car length etc.

Start reversing, then almost immediately start turning the wheel making minor corrections if needed until i can see that through my right side view mirror I am cleared to continue but really close, but basically cranking it all the way then slowly reversing the wheel as i back up until my right rear wheel is “pretty dang close” to the curb, then continue like in that gif.Richstrongs picture pretty much nails it.

Hardest thing we had was the three point turn. I wonder if it is regional?

Best of luck OP. I’m sure you’ve got this but if you don’t pass for any reason consider taking a class with AAA. The guy who taught me was former NYS DMV instructor. They teach you specifically how to pass the road test.

Perhaps I will need lessons considering how picky they are with the grading, they will take off points for every little thing. Stop a little hard, points off for abrupt stop, turn with a little speed, points off for too harsh of turn, stop and pull up a little bit to get a better sight of traffic points off for double stop, go too slow automatic fail, go too fast bunch of points off etc.Correct. I learned this way:
