I can't do anything because people approach me constantly wanting small talk about netlfix or say happy Friday

Corporate America is so fuking strange man. I had a job interview yesterday and it was uncomfortable as fuk. The same mass hysteria phony personalities I see in my current job but probably worse. Nobody is authentic in the white collar working world. They all put on a front. Why can’t we just be ourselves and cut the bull chit? Only reason I’m trying to switch jobs is for more money but it’s become apparent that if I have to spend the rest of my life in corporate America it’s going to destroy me.

bruh this is happening to me in the gym. I get people coming up to me and talking non stop. I'm not even like a massive person either. I'll be trying to catch my breath after an intense squat set, head phones in and some boomer will come up and talk to me about the news or how their knee hurts or some pointless bullchit.

Or I'll be stretching and some dumb bitch will come talk about her dog or how she's failing her classes. I don't even give any fukks or say much aside form a head nod to a few regulars, yet I'm the one getting ear fukked.

Not sure if people have lost social awareness or just desperately need to vent but last time i checked, I don't have therapist written on my head.

Same I just mind my business and do my thing but every place I go I get approached by people for some reason saying the most random things. I had to cancel my membership because id be out of breath from doing rows or weighted chin ups or something and someone would walk up to me every day when I had my ear buds in trying to talk to me or tapping me on the shoulder. An old guy kept tapping on my shoulder. It's like I can't do anything to ever get in a rhythm because people keep doing this.

I also get random people shouting at me when I walk outside for breaks and stuff. Just shouting the most random things. I get a approached by people out in the hallways too every single day and don't know what to say to them but they keep doing it
