Algonquin Provincial Park

Any of you gents ever go there?

I got back from my first trip a few days back, took my 10 year old up there. We went up to Burnt Island Lake so nothing crazy but a great starter trip. Most of my canoeing has been done in the adirondacks but I'm hooked and can't wait to go back.

Any places you'd recommend in the park?

Stopped by Huntsville on our way home, looked pretty nice too.

I've been out to Glacier-Waterton park out in Montana/Alberta but didn't get far north enough into Alberta to see Banff. The pictures I've seen are amazing though.

Would recommend Saguenay national park in quebec, went last year and it was fukin awesome. The Fjord park there is a 1.5 hour hike to the peak but the views are hngg AF

Go through there and then would reccomend tadousac, then up the cost north of there.

You get waken up by the whales feeding by a camp spot we went, they were about 30 meters from the shore. Saw belugas, mink whales, humpbacks and seals from our camping spots

Already planning my return, maybe this fall. I used to take an annual trip on Columbus Weekend so Canadian thanksgiving. Giving it some thought
