The ending to that last game in Friday Night Lights….

Just rewatched it for the first time since 04.

Goddamn I forgot how hard that scene hit me. Fukking brutal.

Wish more movies had the balls to go this route nowadays. They did for a few of the Rocky movies but there was always some feel good story to tie it all together.

Football is no fukking joke in Texas. Not that I’d know firsthand but it really is all they have in a lot of those flyover states. Blows my mind but seems pretty fun to be a part of.

Very realistic. I coached in a game like that. State championship, NFL stadium, we were down to our 3rd string QB and lost in double OT. We were up 7 late but busted a coverage on 4th and 10 because the CB and OLB couldn't hear the call it was so loud.
