You steal a bicycle, then work for some backstreet fast food place as a delivery boy. Save enough to rent the smallest flat you can find or just do couch surfing, then build up from there.

Shower ... guess youll have to bird bathe, steal some wet wipes and cologne. Or maybe a planet fitness gym membership. If youre near a beach they have public showers.
Actually cant you still get an obama phone?
wait how tf are you posting here?

There are countless programs available to them to get off the street.
You have to think first what got them there to start with. Its easy to think that rents have gone up and its expensive and they were just hard working people who lost their job because of some greedy corporate thing.
Usually thats not true. What really happened is they were addicted to drugs and quit going to work to do drugs full time. They neglected and stole from everyone they knew and found themselves on the streets. They chose drugs over security.
They could back into society but they would have to get cleaned up, get off the drugs and stay off of them.
That or they can collect disability and food stamps, sleep on the street and drink 40's at 7 am while we go to work.
They usually chose the latter.
My brother was homeless for a long time, this exact scenario. No amount of a helping hand would change it. He finally had to seek out help himself. got into a free program that not only got him clean but housed him, fed him, gave him a job. He did that for 13 years until he passed away last year of pneumonia. They had an absolute zero tolerance, you could be a senior guy like he was but one slip up, one failed piss test and you are back on the streets. He said most guys who enroll dont make it.

They get paid to be homeless. I think it's like $600 plus a free cell phone. Some of them don't want to work just to live paycheck to paycheck. Most of them don't have valuable skills that translate to great pay.

My heart goes out to the homeless. A lot of these guys just got a bad hand in life from the start. Negligent abusive upbringings to the point they literally were not raised to function in society. That leads to substance abuse.
I feel like anyone of us, if we had the same upbringing as one of these homeless people, we would’ve come to the same end as they did srs
Wether we admit it or not we have a lot of things working for us in life. I can’t imagine what my life would be like if I had to worry about have a parent on drugs or an alcoholic abusive father. Chit can mess you up. Not everyone can just deal with that type of stuff

By not being mentally ill. Why do you think the vast majority seem off? It's because they're fukking retarded and no one wants them. The ones that aren't retarded also don't stay homeless.

Lots of people have no idea how monumentally difficult it is to even get a job if you happen to be homeless.
You need a good ID, an address, references, and the list goes on and on. Sometimes you even need a background check, have to digitally sign chit and blah blah blah.
Homeless are in a tough fukkin spot in terms of finding a job much less finding an apartment much less finding a house.

The mother “homeschooled” the guy but didn’t really teach him anything. Most days he was doing odd jobs with the dad.
He turns 16. Decides to get a job at a fast food joint.. could barely read or write. Messed up a ton of orders and got fired. That was the last real job he had before going back to doing odd jobs like his father.
Imagine being so far behind everyone else you can barely read or write let alone do simple math.. it got to him and he turned to alcohol. Eventually became homeless getting kicked out of halfway homes
Actually criminal what his parents did to him. Had no business having kids. He no chance whatsoever. Unless by the grace of God he was just aware of his situation even as a child and worked hard to change the trajectory of his life.
Most if the times it’s cases like this or some form of abuse that fckd them up at an early age, or they have some learning disabilities that keeps them from functioning in the system.

This is what I noticed living out of my truck the first 6 months or so in CA
People who are really mentally off and can’t hold a regular job
some who have substance abuse issues
some are just lazy or choose that lifestyle due to COL (not uncommon in CA actually)
Even if you make a bad move or get down on your luck most of the time you can recover from it and at least get by
Rent increases aren’t helping because the COL has literally doubled in SoCal over the last 3 years I’ve been here but if it’s that unaffordable then maybe you need to move ?
I don’t know why people are so stubborn leaving San Diego
Nothing has to be permanent in life
build higher paying skills somewhere much cheaper and then come back if you still want to

Just get a cleaning job if your homeless, there are so many small businesses that will take u

Grant cardone was on there. They got a bunch of billionaires and millionaires to go to a random location with nothing but a truck and like 100 bucks to see how quickly they could become millionaires again. They all did it in about 30 days srs
Edit: show was called Undercover Billionaire
And they weren’t allowed to tell anybody who they were so they couldn’t use their name/influence to make money
