I don't understand why, but Porsches have always just seemed so underwhelming to me. If I was given 200k, theres at least 10 other cars I would choose over a Porsche.

They are understated and civilized, which is the exact reason some people like them over everything else (me included). I completely understand how you could have your opinion though.

I think a big part of why Porsches are so popular is because they've historically retained their value better than the other $100-200k options they compete with. Porsches are to sports cars what Rolexes are to watches

I understand if you're comparing price range. But not many cars will beat a RS on the track which porsche is all about. The driving experience is where its at with porsche.

Porsches are not really miscer cars. The average miscer only cares about how fast a car goes in a straight line, bhp figure and ostentatious styling.

Porsches were some of the first cars that were built as race cars, and then tweaked to make street legal, vs the majority of other cars that were (and still are) the other way around.

The pricing on Porsche has made them a complete no-go for me. 911s were never intended to be creeping on supercar range.
