My mp3 player died, any recommendations?

What are you brahs using for mobile music?

I don't want to take my phone with me everywhere, and it would be cool of they make something like this with bluetooth?

I don't use any streaming services. I listen to alot of vinyl rips, my own stuff im working on etc. Plus I have all the mp3s anyway for Rekordbox.

Why not just buy a cheap phone and use it as an mp3 player, thats what I used to do

Seems like everyone uses their phones these days. I want something smaller than a phone. When I do HIIT in the park I wear my rugby shorts with no pockets, I tuck it into my waist band.

Your choice, I was using mp3 players up until a few years ago but i find phones are better

- better battery life (when using for music only)
- tons of different music players in the app store which i like the options, for example some you can crossfade/blend songs into each other at the end
- can also still use internet/wifi very easily to download more music
- Choice to have either bluetooth or wired headphones

list goes on




You can use one of those arm strap bands and put the phone on your arm, or even your waist. Obviously dont get a super heavy phone

This. Why not just use your phone? A dedicated mp3 player is an additional gadget to bring.

That said, the new Sony Walkman I read is the best when it comes to audio quality- if you are into that. Otherwise just get a cheapo one if just for the gym.

SanDisk Clip Sport Go 32GB



+ cheap, compact, HUGE storage with 32 GB
- it's perfect for pushing play and being on the go, however if you want to search and select songs constantly it's not the most convenient

Sony NW-E394 8GB



+ very user friendly and high quality
- relatively small storage and a bit more expensive

these are both pretty basic but that's how I like it

> no touch screen or "sense control" like ipod, I just want BUTTONS to click
> no need for wiresless headphones
> no streaming or chit, just good old mp3 files lol

If you can justify spending a bit more, get a galaxy watch. It acts as a mini phone in many ways, even allowing you to answer calls within range of 50m from your actual phone.

Sony - UX Series Digital Voice Recorder - Black

It has a slot for a memory card. Download the music on your phone and put it on the memory card. Take it out and put it in the recorder. Lightweight and you can have as much music as the card can hold.

Reminds me of the old shuffles but it's better because it has a screen.
