Do you have police stories? Were we lied to and brainwashed into thinking the police are good people out there doing a hard job to keep everyone safe? Is it necessary for police to be wearing full plate armor and carrying m16A2 rifles in their cars?

I think now I was lied to because when I was growing up my mother told me the cops are good people out there to help and I believed that until about 2011 when I had some things happen where I needed help and they did nothing. I think women think this because we live in some weird feminine society ruled by women and police always white knight and "believe all women" and are used by women as a tool or weapon for revenge against their ex husband/ boyfriends.

I was sitting at a stop light waiting for it to turn green when all of a sudden this car SLAMMED into the back of my truck, then the woman went over on the right shoulder of the road and took off driving away. I went to follow her, called 911, gave the license plate number. Lady on 911 said stop following and go back to the scene of the accident and wait for police. Police show up. Tell me there is no proof this mexican woman hit me so they cant do anything. Even though her entire bumper was laying there on the side of the road, I had her license plate number, description of the person, etc. They said it is a civil issue and told me to contact my insurance and let them deal with it. Then the police wanted to search my truck because I seemed "shaky and nervous". Well I was kinda shaken up from getting slammed into out of nowhere. Told them no I dont consent. They searched my truck anyway had me sit on the road with one officer standing over me while the other guy went through all my stuff. They left all my tools and things just laying on the road and just said okay you can go now and they drove away. I was so upset after that. Wtf so I guess you can just hit somebody and drive away? Cost me $1000 deductible to fix my truck. Luckily she didnt bend the frame and total it.


Another story. I came back home from marine corps and went and saw my gf to tell her I dont wanna be in a relationship anymore, every time I had tried to end it in the past she would "attempt" suicide and swallow a bunch of pain pills from her mom to manipulate me and hold me hostage in the relationship. I was sick of it. I ended it for good. Then 3 months later I get a domestic violence injunction. She said I raped her and attempted to kill her. I went to court it was dismissed. The same day she filled out another one. Same story. Had to go to court it got dismissed and the judge said stop doing these injunctions. I started getting death threat phone calls and someone vandalized my vehicle. I got a death threat voicemail that was the one that kinda scared me, the person said "you look like a ******* in that purple shirt" and then said specific way they were gonna kill me. I was wearing a purple shirt that day and right after I listened to that voicemail in my car I drove to the police station. The cops got pissed off at me when I tried to play the voicemail he very sternly told me "DO NOT PLAY THE VOICEMAIL I DO NOT WANT TO HEAR IT". He said he would make a report. I talked to my lawyer and he said go back and get the report printed out and bring it to him. I got the report and it was totally wrong. It said "unwanted phone call from ex girlfriend" That wasnt even what happened. It was a male voice on the death threat voicemail.


Last few months police have been sneaking up to my house and banging on the windows with pieces of metal coins. Had no idea what they wanted and honestly it scared me. They did other weird stuff too like make weird faces into my security cameras. They were wearing all black and just shirts that said "police" like you would buy on ebay and were wearing plate armor vests and on their cars it said "we fight as one" painted on the side. I got a letter saying that I am going around following around my ex gf in my truck. The girlfriend I have not seen or spoken to in over 11 years. She also said I was threatening to kill her. I got court paperwork taped to my door one night saying I have to be in court the next day at 9 am for stalking. I read the paperwork and it says the police gave my ex gf information from the florida david database and whatever else database that has my private information, gave her my truck description, license plate number, my address, and told her about my prior contact I had with police when I got into an argument with my dad, he had came and broke into my house but that is another story, anyway the police told her I seem unstable and dangerous. They helped her fabricate a stalking story. I am going to try to get the phone recording to see what the fuk they did on the phone and going to be contacting a lawyer. I tried to complain about the police banging on my windows with pieces of metal. At first they said they did not do this. Then I told them it is on my security camera. Then they said hold on let me transfer you to my supervisor. They transferred me to a frickin suicide hotline. The guy told me sorry you are dealing with this, the police do this hoping you will hang up so we call them and they have an excuse to come to your house and harass you, it happens all the time. Fuk these people so sick of living here.

Still pisses me off to this day when I think about how they treated me when I tried to make the death threat voicemail police report. They argued with me and didnt even want to take a report. They kept asking why I need to report it. Told them I need it on record so if something happens to me you know who to look for. The guy laughed and said nobody is gonna kill you. Wtf. But now they go full swat mode based on fake stalking story from a woman I have not seen or spoken to in 11 years that has severe mental issues, borderline personality disorder, bipolar mood disorder, etc? fuk the police

Several departments need to be audited, restructured, and re-trained.

I also don't feel like LEO's have enough resources to mitigat the mental fatigue of the job.

Don't really have any personal negative interactions with the fuzz.
I guess if I see a cop with a bunch of ridiculously gaudy tattoos, I couldn't really take them too seriously in any position of authority or crisis management.

Never had a bad experience with the police because I’m not an azzhole. You act like an azzhole and you get treated like one. My best friend is a cop and the stories he tells me, fkn lol, you can’t expect someone to take as much chit as they do without them losing their cool from time to time. Nobody is 100% at their job day in day out.

I think there are departments that are totally rotten and need a new culture change. When some people are given the green light to act like psychopaths because the entire culture of the department is corrupt they can use position of authority and belonging to the group to deflect individual responsibility and justify their actions by having an "us versus them" mindset, the police cars here literally have the motto "we fight as one" painted on the side.
