Nicotine withdrawals

Traded cigs for vaping about 3 years ago

Realized the other day that I am huge pooseyphaaggot for sukking on an e-dink literally 100+ times per day

Threw all my vaping chit in the trash Sunday night.

Brb could barely function monday. Today (Tues) much better but I've been sweating all night and now I am in bed feeling like I drank 3 redballs prob won't be able to sleep for hours.

I think I'll actually stay vape free after this because these withdrawals are not worth the miniscule pleasure that nicotine provides.

Dare you to try the vape pens. Those little chits are addictive as fuk.

Cigarettes were never a problem for me. I tried vape pens on a 5 day trip with my boys and totally get why people get addicted to those. I was basically addicted after only a few days.

I take those nicotine lozenges you can get at Costco. It tastes like chalk but it's not overly sweet or ridiculously expensive like the Nicrorette version. I just pop them throughout the grind of the day and never need them when I'm relaxing at home. I do feel the nicotine withdrawal symptoms around the 14 hour mark and I can probably quit if I must but I don't see the point when the side effects are minimal and the nicotine helps me stay level headed throughout the day.

Those small disposable vape pens that light up are super popular among teens and young adults. They're like 22mg of nicotine too, that's so fkin strong. People who never smoked start buying them and get hooked on the tasty flavours. It's over after you've had 2 or 3 of them

Tried vape once and crapped for 2 days in a row with heavy sweats. I think I got nicotine poisoning from it. The physical addiction should last a couple of days tops, after that it's all about mental strength.

Lol yeah whats funny is vapes started out as an aid to stop smoking and its having the opposite effect. There is a girl in my work that is like 22 or something, started vaping a few months ago. Now shes smoking 15 cigs per day. Fuking lol.

Time to upgrade to snus like a Nordic God SRS. Nicotine and caffeine gets me through the workday without wanting to completely blow my brains out. I never smoked dick sticks or anything like that though. I'd recommend 77 from Poland.

Head down to your local dollar general. For 10 bucks you can get a 20 pack of these mints. They are packed with Nicotine and last hours. You will have no withdrawals and it will keep you from smoking.

Cold turkey or bust. Take it one day at a time. When it's over, you'll call yourself a retard for not stopping earlier.

nic has a pretty short half life. If you can push through 5 days the only thing left is any psychological addiction.

Some experts think the nicotine in tobacco is as addictive as ******* or heroin. Getting rid of nicotine addiction is not so easy.

Biggest bullchit ever said about nicotine addiction.

Can take 3 months for dopamine to return to normal:
https://psychcentral.com/news/2016/0...ting-smoking#1

https://jnm.snmjournals.org/content/48/11/1829
Conclusion: Because the upregulation of the nAChRs of the smokers after chronic exposure of the nicotine was downregulated to the nonsmokers' level by around 21 d after smoking cessation, the upregulation is a temporary effect. The decrease in nicotinic receptors to nonsmoker levels may be the breaking point during the nicotine withdrawal period.
https://newsnetwork.mayoclinic.org/d...s-of-nicotine/

Cliffs: Nicotine receptors increase with exposure and it takes time for them to return to normal.

I was a smoker for close to 20 years, and the way I quit was to cut down to 2 cigarettes a day, one upon waking and one before going to bed. Did that for a week, then quit cold turkey. Had cravings once a week for a couple of months, then cravings went away entirely.

Night sweats are legit. You'll get through them, don't forget the craving when it comes only last a few minutes before you completely forget about it. If it gets bad enough, go pick up those nicotine tic tacs to rid yourself of the craving.

Nicotine withdrawl is no joke.

I smoked for 5 years and quit cold turkey.

You just have to mind over matter through it. After 3 or 4 days it gets easy, and by the 2 week mark you're 100% again.

Most people cant beat this addiction.
