And just stare up at you like "the hell man, I thought we were boys."

The absolute hurt and betrayal in their eyes lol.

I go and retrieve it every time, give it back to them and throw in a massive belly rub to try and redeem myself.

lol Sometimes my dog does that. If it's his jolly ball he pretty much always fetches. His stuffed toys he'll usually just look at me and not move.

Interesting how different dogs can be. Some are just not into it. Have one that goes absolutely nuts to play ball and has a favorite type of toy. Another gives zero fuks and doesn’t have a favorite. Previous dog had a favorite toy but didn’t play fetch.
