I told myself that I would make a thread upon turning a 40 year-old virgin to answer any questions that people may have. Over the past decade it has become in increasingly likely that this day would come, it is certainly no shock to me.

No. I will not hire the services of a hooker for various reasons whether ethical, physical or emotional.I would rather die a virgin. I am not "incel" exactly...this is just the way it is and it barely bothers me at this stage. So please don't ask about paying for sex.

Also, I am fielding questions only. Please don't give me generic Tony Robbins'esque soundbites like "just go out there and be yourself" as I have heard it all before, tried it and it has never gone anywhere at all in terms of relationships etc.

at what age did it become a self-fufilling prophecy?

as in - even if you had an opportunity to phukk, you knew you had no confidence or competence so that gave you anxiety and caused you to turn further inward and keep spiraling?

honestly the way the world is this chit is probably fairly common

anytime i'm walking around the city/on the train etc i look around, see the average guy and think how the fuk do any of these guys get laid

I wouldn't say I'm hideous. I'm 6ft and 225lbs with fairly low bf. I just can't attract females and they have never really shown interest. Maybe I give off bad vibes whether I want to or not? I have actually learnt a lot on the misc.

I have friends, but not friends I see on the regular and get yucky with. Last time I met up with a friend in free time was May 2019, and before that 2016. I have been fapping for 25 years fairly regularly; I guess twice a week on average for past 4 years.

Apologies, I missed the Q. I still had potential and hope at 19. The self-fulfilling prophecy didn't start to cement until well into 30s I would say. I never have had and most likely will never have an opportunity to phuck, so will never know how I would react.
