Anyone else notice technology rules our lives now?

Real life has now moved entirely to the internet. If you aren't on the internet you are dead and irrelevant. Our phones have become like another body part. When we are offline it feels like we have lost our soul. I went into the mountains without an internet connection and it feels like a dream world. Ten years ago, being on the computer felt like the dream world. Now the roles have switched.

It's true. I don't understand why I constantly have to check my IG or refresh the misc every 5 minutes.

Social engineering. Everyone is in their own tiny social media bubble now.

Can't even order food without using a QR code now. Banks are now pushing Apple Pay on us.

At work people literally watch youtube, play podcasts or play games like candy crush all day. It wasn't like this even 8 years ago. Now restaurants have apps where you can just order the food on it and pick it up. Video games are just downloaded in 10 minutes online. People stream everything. Everything is just done online now it's crazy.
