Russia announced the nord stream pipeline will be closed indefinitely

Natural gas pipeline to Europe to remain closed indefinitely. Im supervised you guys aren't already talking about this. Seems to be a major issue. Electricity prices are up about 600 percent year over year in Europe, now natural gas being cut is going to really hurt.

Russia about to show they are playing 3d chess.

The west informs us we're the ones imposing sanctions on Russia.
Meanwhile Russia is imposing sanctions on us.

We're probably more brainwashed than the Russian people.

Germany invested heavily into solar and wind so they'll be fine. In hindsight, it was also a really good idea to go green and shutdown their nuclear plants which emit 0 CO2.

They are doing their part to combat climate change and should be praised. GJ Germany!

Read about this last night. Good luck sleeping near your coal or wood burning fireplaces this winter, Eurobros. For those without fireplaces, make sure you get a thick sleeping bag for when you're spending the nights in "warm up centers" already planned in sports arenas and other public locations. Makes me wonder how many Germans will be sleeping at work this winter as well.

It's not just driving cars and heating homes.

Germany's economy is heavily invested in petrochemicals, far more than things like steel or iron, which can only be produced from natural gas.

They are screwed so bad.

The amount of energy saved might just end global warming or cooling or whatever it is today that is destroying the planet in X years.
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

Natural gas is also a key ingredient in the process used to make nitrogen based Fertilizer used on a range of crops which include corn and wheat.

LMAO Europe is fuked. China disabled the West and wrecked economies by releasing Covid from the Wuham lab....Russia is disabling the west by cutting them off from natural resources they need to live.

Just keep donating billions to Ukraine and the Jews guys nothing to see here

Trump accused Germany of becoming ‘totally dependent’ on Russian energy at the U.N. The Germans just smirked.

One of them captured the amused reactions of the German delegation as Trump said: “Germany will become totally dependent on Russian energy if it does not immediately change course. Here in the Western Hemisphere, we are committed to maintaining our independence from the encroachment of expansionist foreign powers.”
German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas could be seen smirking alongside his colleagues.
It wasn’t the first time Trump had lashed out at Germany over its gas imports from Russia.

During a NATO summit in July, he took aim at the Germans for the same reason, specifically singling out a planned 800-mile pipeline beneath the Baltic Sea called Nord Stream 2. “Germany, as far as I’m concerned, is captive to Russia because it’s getting so much of its energy from Russia,” Trump told NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, also speaking on camera at the time. “We have to talk about the billions and billions of dollars that’s being paid to the country we’re supposed to be protecting you against.”
Germany is indeed Russia’s biggest export market in Europe for gas, with a dependency that may grow further once Nord Stream 2 is finished. The pipeline would roughly double Russia’s export volume via the Baltic Sea route.

you mean Gazprom having record H1 profits didn't hurt Russia?

is the implication that female/fgt leaders making decisions based purely on emotion rather than logic backfires spectacularly?

Going to be interesting how many people still want to stand with Ukraine when their energy bill is over half their monthly budget.

Russia played the long game on this one. The Eurocucks went with their emotions. Now Russia is probably going to win.

You have to realize that "indefinitely" actually just means until all sanctions are dropped and Russia gets the buffer zone in Ukraine that it wants. Once that happens I'm sure they will quickly find the screw loose that was preventing the turbine from working.

Yeah I know, crazy right?

It's almost like you shouldn't be making big political decisions on a basis of what you're emotional and upset about.

Are you a single Europoor looking to get some ass this fall and winter? You don't need flash or even big dick energy. You literally will just need energy, as in electricity. Keep those lights on, a thermostat at 70F.
