Whisky drinkers GTFIH

Im looking at getting someone who is turning 60 a bottle as they are a whisky drinker but have no idea about that type of chit cause i only drink vodka/gin

Was thinking glenfiddich cause its all i know

Suggestions?

Is Australian whisk(e)y a thing? Serious question.

Must not be cause I haven't heard that Chestbrah has put out Zyzzzz Whisk(e)y to help make money off his brother.
