List and rate the last three movies you have seen.
Want to watch something new and refreshing and between the infinite choices on all streaming options I get choice anxiety of investing valuable 2 hours of our short life. Its like playing Russian roulette.

The new Top Gun a few days ago. I thought it was really good.
Other than that, can't remember what movies I last watched. Have a bunch of big blockbuster movies from 2020-2022 on my HDD, just haven't watched 'em. Might watch the new Ghostbuster eventually.

All the President's Men (1976) - 7.7/10 - A damn good historical political thriller.
The Legend of Hell House (1973) - 7.5/10 - Aesthetically and atmospherically very much in line with what I like to see from a haunted house movie.
Blacklight (2022) - 6/10 - A run-of-the-mill Liam Neeson action thriller. Most people I would probably rate this lower than a 6, but I'm a sucker for the Liam Neeson is an old badass genre.

Everything everywhere all at once - 10/10. Fantastic film just awesome all around.
Nope - 7/10. Entertaining enough
Topgun - 9/10. Just a good movie all around and even cooler that all the jets were real and no cgi.
Me time - 1/10. Terrible. Turned it off after 20 min

Train to Busan - 10/10 Really solid zombie movie. Awesome, inventive stuff. They got so much more out of the train as a central character as compared to, say, Snakes on a Plane.
Train to Busan: Peninsula - 7.5/10 Not as good as the original, but still a lot of fun. Had more of a Mad Max vibe, which I was cool with. Dug the abandoned city.
Nobody - 7/10 Entertaining enough. Nothing too revolutionary. Felt like the "Barry" show but condensed into a film. Odenkirk is solid in everything.

Not including reruns- Emergency on amazon prime. Neat satirical piece on blm and generation z for young adults. I thought the cast was pretty good. Top Gun, a reverie like roller coaster ride that puts the punctuation marks on America. Thor: Love and Thunder, 6.5/10 enjoyed the pandering to the disney kids, and it wasn't too long of a movie.

I'll list only the last 3 movies that I watched for the first time, from memory at least.
Office Space - 7.5/10. Pretty damn funny, not everything landed for me though. Would watch again.
Top Gun: Maverick - 9/10. Wanted to tear up a bit as dumb as that sounds. Caused me to self reflect, cease complacency, pursue a certification, and get a huge pay promotion as a counter offer for an external offer I got during interviews. Get out of the comfort zone, into the danger zone. Will buy this movie soon. Non-woke and entertaining. Not a perfect movie for reasons like it being unbelievable, corny overdone nods to prior film, Tom Cruise always winning and appearing alpha.
Jackie Chan's Drunken Master and Super Cop movie series' - Loved it! 7/10. Would rank it like this: Super Cop 3 > Drunken Master 2 > Super Cop 1 > Drunken Master 1 > Super Cop 2. The Super Cop movies are chronological and have references to the prior films, using the same main characters and actors throughout. The Drunken Master movies are totally separate stories entirely different from each other.

Scent of a Woman - 3.5/5 - Finally got around to seeing this. Good ass film, but I expected more considering all the praise it gets.
The Brood - 4/5 - Old ass David Cronenberg film I stumbled upon on Prime. Great little horror/thriller film, 90 mins long, superb acting.
13 Lives - 5/5 - Crazy to think it’s based on a real life story (albeit dramatised). Kept me gripped from start to finish with good tension building.
