Rented a car this past weekend, it didn't even have a shifter. Just buttons for drive, reverse, park. No key, just the push button. Reverse cam, over car cam view. Infuriatingly, it wouldn't drive if I didn't have my seat belt on. Not a single analog dial or meter in the entire car, all electric digital, even though some of the dials pretended to have an analog look.

Anyone else not like this "progress"? Does anyone else already have a mommy and not want his car to be his other mommy?

Things used to be real. Now our entire reality depends on florescent digital computer readouts. I'm never getting a new car that is all digital. It's really fake, and also extremely gay.

Ironically, this whole message is digital, to be consumed from a screen. Why are you on this screen? What are you doing? Is this how you want to live your life? Obviously I'm no better than you since I'm here as well, but I'm gonna go walk in the woods for a bit after posting.

We have lost so much. When the grid goes down, for those of us who survive, it will be a true blessing. Maybe also a blessing for those who don't.
