Are you guys not deeply concerned about how nonchalant 'we' are accepting and normalizing the attack on such fundamental freedom and shrugging at the power we are enabling these private companies to have with an obvious one-sided agenda? I don't have to even have to be specific and named people or topics that private companies with a monopoly on communication have solely been judged and jury and censored what the populous is able to be subject to. What would it take to tip the scale and revolt?

So long as people can afford to eat and dik around on the internet/tv, there will be no revolts.

The "go make your own platform" idiots don't see the larger point. It bothers me that the inherent right to speak freely is being choked. I say would forcing companies to accept whatever is spoken is nearly as important as forcing companies to serve blacks. It might break the letter of the constitution, but recognizes a more important human right.

I remember my grade school teachers touting this country for it's strength in believing in free speech. That we are strong enough that even completely moronic and incorrect views were allowed. Because we could speak truth right back. The KKK were once defended by the ACLU for crying out loud. Now we need to be coddled, protected, our views massaged, now facts must be hidden for our own good. We're headed down a dark path...correction-we are being LED down a dark path.

No one wants to lead, just follow like sheep. And they wont' just follow 1 guy... it has to be a bunch of people doing it first.
That is why there won't be revolution until hunger becomes a problem and entertainment isn't readily available.

That is a stupid feel-good quote. And in the end, defending the right to an opposing view doesn't work as soon as the opposing view want to silence YOU. It only works if both sides have principles, which clearly is not the case anymore. One side objectively has less principles than the other, and they're winning.

As far as a revolt goes, that's obviously not happening. The govnt cucked Americans so hard we basically deserve what we're about to get. When it gets bad enough that a large amount of people become homicidal/suicidal, that's when we'll get a revolution. Until then we'll just get fat and distracted.
