How much protein can you absorb in 1 meal? How frequent?
I've heard you can only absorb 30-50g of protein in 1 meal. Is this correct?
How much time between meals before you can take your next 50g load of protein?
Only answer if you know. Thanks boyos!

No. You will absorb pretty much any amount of protein. The question is how much protein is optimal for triggering a muscle protein synthesis (MPS) response.

It would seem around 0.4g per kg (which works out at around 30-40g for an average dude) is around optimal, and more than this in one serving does not contribute to any additional MPS response.
So IF brahs might not be optimising their gains because all that protein in one meal is not being used to stimulate growth versus smaller meals spread out through the day.

I have done everything from 6 meals to day to currently just 3 meals.
Absolutely zero difference in gains/performance so I'm inclined to believe it does not matter at all how much per meal. Just get your recommended protein in during the day however you can.
