Why does nearly every single zoomer have some mental illness?

This stuff is way too overdiagnosed, it almost seems like it is trendy with them. Dafuq is going on?

A lot of self diagnosis going on for sure, seems like you have to have some mental illness like OCD, ADHD, liberalism or autism to fit in these days for kids.

because idiots wear their deficiencies like a badge of honor. Like poor people that retired too early and scream about being on a fixed income when prices go up. I'll never understand why people announce they retired too early when they aren't happy about price increases.

The way we live is unnatural.

Also could be that previous generations also have it but zoomers view it more socially acceptable to talk about it and get diagnosed.

Let’s be honest, half the miscers who will comment on this thread have a mental illness.

"every single" is hyperbole to the point of being not meaningful. it's like what, 20% of millenials have had some sort of mental health diagnosis, including anything like anxiety or depression.

seems easily explainable when compared to silent gen 10-12% if you look at the fact that there's less stigma around it now

Liberalism causes mental disorders

Taking no accountability for your own actions leads to not feeling like you have any control over your life which leads to anxiety, depression, and being ugly

It's because it allows people to be fukk ups, lazy, mean, or live in a way where they don't have to push and apply themselves because they have this random mental illness as an excuse.

I never heard the word anxiety in public speak before a few years ago. Didn't even know what it was while everyone kept talking about "My anxiety" like they owned it or something.

Anything to use as a scapegoat. Of course some people do actually have mental illnesses, but the rate now is absolutely absurd.

Because all they know is social media tik tok etc where everything is sexualized on top off that add the copious amounts of porn that is consumed, and you have zombies walking around that can't even hold a conversation in public unless it's making a tik tok video.

My cousin came over for labor day weekend with his wife. They have a daughter who's 17 she can't even hold conversations because she was on her phone the whole time sitting on the couch watching her reality tv shows. The first thing she said when they got to the house she asked if I have hulu so she can watch Love Island or some chit.

She was watching it the whole time while glued on her phone. She doesn't talk you have to initiate the conversation, and she will just reply with quick answers like "oh yeah cool!"
