did anyone have **** 20s but really great 30s?

have had a really **** time in my mid and late 20s, health conditions and just not living an enjoyable life. absolutely miserable 1/10 at best. anyone have this happen and really turned it around for their 30s? i'd like to believe humans are resilient

I'm 32 and looking to make a major change now. 20s consisted of being an incel and doomermaxxing. Never had friends, never had sloots, never partied, never traveled.

30s and up can still be a great time.

Hell yes, I did... I came from a lower middle class tradie family. I had to go to community college and work odd jobs before I could transfer to university and finish schooling.

I graduated late at 24, then started lower lower tier officecel jobs where I was worked nearly to a heart attack. Then in my early 30s I climbed the ladder. Now in my late 30s I'm sitting pretty.


Not everyone gets to have that awesome college partying experience and not everyone has the connections to be hired into a top level position right after school. some of us have to climb.

yea. i was making more $$ in my 20s but women could smell that i was careermaxxing just to get some.

once i actually started to follow my passion, genuine interest came my way

Not only did I miss out on having awesome college years in my 20s, but I also missed out on teenage love in high school because I was a socially awkward weirdo....

This is the scene from the Wonder Years where Kevin Arnold first kissed Winnie Cooper.... I will go to my grave never knowing the euphoria of teenage love...

This option just wasn't available for me....

high school and college were ****ing awesome. just started having health problems in my mid 20s that have sucked

We really should age backwards. Think about how much better your 20s and teens would be full of knowledge and money.

20's were great all the way through. 30's bring more money, yet way more responsibilities that prevent the freedom that came with the prior decade. It's a tough call. I think each decade is what you make it. We tend to romanticize the past and have selective memory.

Mmmm nah.. 18-23 I was playing poker and selling pounds of weed.. had plenty of friends and a decent amount of girls.

25 I opened my business.. by 26 I had a 9/10 Preggo with my Daughter.. 2 years Later I had a Son by the same girl..

30s aren’t bad though. Making a ton of money and banging a girl in her early 20s. Drive a fast sports car and live in one of the most expensive cities in my state.


I have no real regrets.. couple years in the end of 20s/ beginning of 30s were chit but that was all baby mama drama related.

The second half of my twenties and most of my thirties were pretty awesome because I found my wife, found a career paying six figures, traveled to cool places, and had a kid. At 38, Covid hit and things got chittier. Seem to be getting better again.

Yes, my 20s were awful. Great Recession and diagnosed with MS. Got my first real job at 27, and was earning $150k a couple years before quitting at 29.

Now 37, and I’m a much different person now than I was at 29. Have traveled the world solo, now a millionaire, have had sex with hundreds of females since exiting my 20s. Confidence much higher, mental health much much better, was able to develop a wide net of friends all over the world, which helped me branch out from my high school and college friends. And this all happened with losing 1.5 years of development due to Covid.

My only regret is that some of these things would have been much better in my 20s, but I just genuinely don’t care that much and I look late 20s anyways. When in good shape I still get plenty of looks from girls in their 20s, and can get laid whenever I want.
