Is this supplement anabolic?
I saw a comment saying it's a plant steroid but will it really have an anabolic effect and does it suppress natural testosterone? It's called Anafuse. Ingredients
How does Anafuse Help You Bulk Up?
The ingredients in Anafuse work to push your muscles beyond their limits by enhancing your body's ability to resist muscle fatigue, which promotes significant increases in muscle endurance and exercise capacity. Get ready to set new personal records!
Promotes mass gains by inhibiting and reducing Myostatin - a protein that actually limits your body's genetic potential for muscle growth. Shatter Your Genetic Muscle Building Potential!
Accelerates your body's ability repair muscle, producing new, stronger, and more dense muscle!
Floods your muscles with blood during workouts, saturating them with essential muscle building nutrients producing intense muscle pumps!
Improves muscle recovery and decreases muscle soreness so you can train harder more often!

The Science Behind Anafuse by Vital Alchemy
Epicatechin: Epicatechin is a flavanol found in certain plants such as green tea and cocoa; and is a powerful antioxidant that helps decrease Myostatin. Myostatin is the greatest single catabolic limiting factor of muscle growth. This natural growth factor protein exists in our bodies and works to regulate and limit muscle growth in a genetically predetermined pattern. Myostatin actually suppresses muscle growth! Epicatechin works to decrease Myostatin which helps to reduce these limiting factors, promoting muscle development beyond your genetic potential.
Laxogenin: Derived from plants, this ingredient is essentially an anabolic building block which your body uses as a blueprint to create its own anabolics. Laxogenin supports increased protein synthesis and nitrogen retention, while promoting other anabolic effects such as increased strength, muscle endurance, muscle recovery, and lean muscle mass. Additionally, Laxogenin aids in controlling the stress hormone cortisol, which when out of balance, can increase fat and muscle wasting.
HICA: HICA is a metabolite of the amino acid leucine that promotes increased protein synthesis and decreased muscle protein breakdown. HICA does this by neutralizing catabolic muscle wasting products that are created during high intensity training. HICA works to support gains in mass and strength while promoting accelerated muscle recovery.
Vitamin D3: Vitamin D3 is essential for muscle health in that low levels of Vitamin D3 promote decreased protein synthesis, decreased strength, weakness and muscle wasting. Additionally, deficiencies in Vitamin D3 lead to fatty muscles which has a negative effect on strength and power.
Quercetin: A flavanol commonly found in fruits, vegetables, leaves and grains primarily used to support normal respiratory health, cardiovascular health, and balanced blood pressure. In the case of Epicatechin, Quercetin inhibits the enzyme class known as “sulfotransferases” from binding to Epicatechin and attaching a sulfur atom to it, preventing its deactivation.
Fructus Schisandrae: A plant that used as an adaptogen for increasing resistance to disease and stress, increasing physical performance, endurance, and energy. Recent studies have shown it to have an strong anabolic potency! Additionally, the studies showed that Fructus Schisandrae strongly inhibits myostatin and helps to upregulate TRPV4 and AKT, two proteins which are critically important for muscle & strength gains!

If you look at the supplement industry over the past 25 years, you'll see that some things are here for the long term like protein, creatine, etc.
But there are some supplements that are cyclical. Supplement companies make a bunch of money on them before everyone realizes they're crap. Then they stop selling them for 10-15 years until there's a whole new crop of twenty-somethings to sell them to.
Methyoxyisoflavone, laxogenin (looks to be the main ingredient in your supplement), ecdysterone, turkesterone, etc.
These are PRIME examples. Fifteen years ago, everybody on this site knew those supplements were crap, and their popularity dropped like a rock.
Srs just save your money.
