Forget climate change/global warming....worry about garbage/waste in our environments

The amount of plastic and garbage I'm finding at beaches, lakes, trails, etc. is increasing and it's disgusting.


Sure some of that stuff is coming from just some local dirt bags who litter, but this summer we were just off the coast near international water (north east) and we were seeing some floating garbage. It was only 2 pieces, but to see that in open waters just makes you wonder what it's like in areas where currents generally take this stuff.


Can't imagine the garbage that the pacific/west coast gets

We're past the point of no return. Too many people literally just don't care. We have been conditioned to only care when our back is against the wall and we get an insane surge of adrenaline to act.

I watched some video where they were going into the ocean and getting a football field worth of plastic in one big net. Just mind blowing at the dumping countries do with zero regulations or slaps on the wrist if they even get caught.

Definitely do agree about only caring/acting when things get bad enough, but all we really need to do is look at whatever chithole has this issue in Africa, Asia, India etc.



West coast miscers, you guys must see this worse than us east coast miscers. You're literally the garbage/plastic filters for the rest of the country

So long as they deal with the shiit and not let it end up all over the place, I have no issues with how they market it.
