Why do liberals dislike rich people so much?

Looking at reddit for example, they seem to have a habit of hating rich people to a point where they would even put out made-up gossips about them as facts just so they can devalue them as people. Really don't understand this hate-driven boner that liberals have towards rich folks.

Yet at the same time they absolutely love rich people. They don't hate the rich, they hate those who have it slightly better than they do. Biden and Pelosi are rich. Bill Gates is rich. BLM founders are rich. Faucci is rich.

Politicians love the rich for donations, everyone else just dislikes tax avoidance and special treatment regarding the law( always found not guilty)

No. Regular reasonable people do not dislike tax avoidance, they love it. Otherwise, they wouldn’t make an effort to have write-offs, etc. I don’t want my countrymen to be saddle with hefty tax bills, no matter what their income levels, political affiliations, etc.

There's a good reason why they are always deep seeded in big business, academia, and government. Those are all big money categories.

Yeah it's not really a "money" thing. It is more a "group think" thing.

So when a conservative actually stands up and ridicules, e.g., "UBI", it's much easier for liberals to cry about the rich conservatives against that. It's "group think" linked with "hypocrisy".
