HBO only partially woke.

Yes they injected black dragon people in house of the dragon, but it looks like they will kill them all off to keep the game of thrones timeline intact.

Showtime has gone about 95% ridiculous woke level. HBO is now about 80%, so they can still occasionally pull things off without being all about activism.


I hope this is in that latter 20%.

Edit: This trailer looks pretty good actually.

The Joel actor is pretty damn good in Game of Thrones and Narcos. The Ellie actress was trash in Game of Thrones so I have no idea what to expect. Also she looks nothing like Ellie. Not saying it has to be an exact match but at least give us some resemblance so we don't have to keep reminding ourselves it's her.
