bunch of retards in here...lets say your latte is 5.00...lets say you get it 4 times a week. Thats 20/week. Average espresso maker what 1200? Thing will pay for itself in 60 weeks...little over a year.

The Breville barista line is 99% just as good as Starbucks ones (considering the adjusted volume) with proper coffee they're even better.

I'm in the restaurant business and I've owned every single kind of coffee machine in my restaurants. The breville ones are the best bang for your buck. Perfect for home use and even good enough for a small business.

Get the one called " the infuser " the ones with touchscreens are what not are just gimmicks. Get a separate coffee grinder or buy your coffee pregrinded.

Cheap coffee makers are trash srs. Maybe I'm just used to the piping hot coffee from Mcdonald's and the like but using the cheap brewers it always comes out cold.

Good luck with your allergies, thyroid removal, insomnia, anxiety, bad skin, jitters, irritability, money and time spending, polluting, chemicals ingesting, and other goals.

That being said, it depends. Starbucks have expensive machines, but the coffee is garbage, cheap and non organic. And the machines are dirty. A professional barista uses much better coffee, and is far more skilled in measuring, grinding and other aspects of coffee making, and can make you a better espresso with a much cheaper machine. It all depends on one’s skills and money. Better coffee beans, grinders, and machines cost more money.
