Imagine using 3rd party delivery services like DoorDash(100% ded fkn srs)
Was stopping in @ the local ching chong good-good Chinesium to get the family food, right
Cashier says it'll be a minute so I sit down
This digustening stereotypical-looking hobomaxxer walks in & you could immediately smell him from 10 feet away srs(straight ass & BO)
He grabs what could've been YOUR food order with his chit-ingrained fingers & I almost threw up
He walks back out to a chit-box SUV where this 350lbs whale is & they drive off to deliver YOUR food

Never used doordash, uber eats, or grubhub etc.
I hardly have pizza delivered either I just do carry out, and go pick it up.
Brb 1 large pizza is like $15 these days plus the delivery fee which is like $5, and then expecting a $5+ tip just lmao.

A year ago at this time I was eating out 4-5 time per week, buying lunch every day and using delivery apps constantly.
I had enough of the insane prices and dogchit service (not to mention their guilt trip attempts to squeeze 25%+ tips out of you) so now I eat out maybe twice a month. Been cooking at home and bringing leftovers for lunch. Doing the dishes is annoying as fuk but it’s better than dealing with the restaurant industry in 2022.

Used Uber eats when they had the $50 free promo
Tried it twice after paid $30 for a shawarma and a can of coke
Got Indian food once and it was like $20 for a small container and a piece of roti
Only tipped $1 and stopped using.
I find it funny how everywhere you go has a tip option now even pizza places on the machine it's 15% 25% 30% . They don't give u the option to tip less so I always press no tip

Hardly have ever used delivery services and the only one's wee pizza delivery. Would never just because of the tales of entitled "dashers" who think they deserve to make six figures delivering food. Same with Uber and some others as well. People seem to think that if they so much as lift a finger for you then they should get so much money.
They will all wash out. They get a few good tips here and there, but generally it's hard to keep moving at all times and not everyone is going to tip well. The thing is that they are at the lowest end of the service field, in that they are doing a job for someone not because they CAN'T do it themselves, and it's not exactly a NEED, but just that they'd rather pay a little more than get in their own car and get it themselves for liesure purposes. Economy slowing and inflation are going to really put the brakes on those services. When the bills get tight the first things that get cut are the electives.

I hate being in public or around people unless I’m drunk so I mainly use DoorDash to get any supplies I need. It’s worth the cost. I don’t have to be trapped in my car or trapped in a store or a line to the checkout and have people look at me.
Just put the order in the mail room and we don’t even need to lay eyes upon each other, that’s fine with me.
Pretty much just need soap, razors, wet wipes, and deodorant. Maybe some soup or frozen food and I’m good.
So yeah I don’t like being around people so DoorDash is perfect for me.

Once a month or so, I stop at a local Chinese place that makes their food fresh. So I sit and wait the 5 minutes for thdm to cook it up (it's so much better than getting crap that's been sitting in warmers).
Withour fail, every time I go, I see one or two of those 3rd party food delivery service people swing in. Always some od the weirdest, trashiest looking people around.

Plus the cost is outrageous.

It is sickening how Gen Z are accustomed to paying for everything. Proud "can't cook, won't cook" rentcel plebs.

Never understand why so many people get food delivered. Its more expensive than eating in and terrible for the planet with all that plastic waste. (No vegan just saying)
Prefer to eat in rather than have warm food delivered which costs 20% more.

It's just the cost of Doordash that kills me. Certain restaurants like McDonald's actually come fresh and taste good with them. but it ends up being like $40.

A lot of people don't seem to know this. They think the tip is like tipping a waiter at a restaurant. If you want your food delivered promptly, put in a nice tip and drivers will be scrambling to get that order.

ITS about your time. LOL at being some cheap kunt who wastes 30min or more...usually more to get his food and come back.
And these random bad experiences are meaningless OR you deserve it for some reason OR you're just really unlucky. almost all the delivery services get it right most of the time...and faster than you could go to pick it up.
Bbbbubbb....but ....#nevertip? LOL....misc losers and cheapskates exposing themselves.
btw; these inflated rest prices are some of the places but not most for sure....for most you pay maybe $10 more including your tip. don't believe? take a look at your bill fuktard.

There's a NY style pizza in the city which is amazing, but they only deliver through door dash or grub hub or whatever service. Their large pizzas are already 25+ bucks and the delivery fee is 5 bucks. I delivered pizza in high school so I'm a good tipper anyways, and gave a 10 dollar tip. BRB 40 fukkin bucks for a pizza that showed up at room temperature. Never again.
