I just got a bill from TxTag for $4.15 with my old plate number for on the Grand Parkway that goes around Houston on Aug 20th. I never use toll roads and have never had a TxTag account at all for toll roads.

I turned those old plates in to the TXDMV when I got my custom plates two years ago. That means someone at the DMV is a crook, or they have been duplicated or something.

The TxTag letter has an account number like someone may have registered with TxTag under my name, but for some other vehicle.

I'm going to my local Police station tomorrow to report those plates stolen and get a Police report and will follow up with the TxDMV and call TxTag and see if hey have a photo and/or description of the vehicle and driver.

Anything else I should do?
