Why wouldn't it be ok? If this is where you're headed with your question, it's much safer for your liver than Aspirin.

i read that ibuprofen doesnt affect the liver so it shouldnt cause any problems at all. but drinking lots of water and gatorade will probably get rid of the hangover faster.
