Are carnival cruises worth it?

Thinking about going on a 7 day Mexican Riviera carnival cruise in a couple months that'll take us through some cities in Mexico. I do have some questions though:

-Are cruises more of an older crowd or younger crowd? or a mix?

-How easy is it to pick up sloots on cruises?

I ask if it's worth it because I want to know how does it compare to say just a regular trip to Cabo and enjoying the nightlife there.

Age of crowd depends on what time of the year you go. Spring and summer will most likely be a younger crowd. But Carnival is chit tier cruising.

I've been on 13 cruises and never been on Carnival. Have always heard they're more party ships.

It's mostly retiree's not saying there aren't young groups but you'd have to be lucky to get on one that has them and if you don't you're in the fast lane for depression

If you want to tour and have a blast go for something like a singles adventure tour. Do lots of fun stuff, there will definitely be girls and it's a total party vibe with others.

Yeah I aint trying to waste my vacation days hanging out with retirees, no offense to em. I think I'm leaning towards just doing like a regular Cabo trip

I absolutely loved going on cruises. I've been on three Carnival cruises and found them to be awesome. Maybe I have very little frame of reference for any others. Food is hnnng. If you plan ahead for your excursions, you'll save time and money. The entertainment can be hit or miss on the ships though. I haven't been a cruise as a single dude, either.

I did carnival to Mexico (though this was a number of years ago) - it seemed the crowd was young party frat types and grandparents with grand children.

I went with my now wife so I can’t tell you that directly but I did have maybe 3-4 milf types hit on me.

Do expect to spend money on the excursions though cause otherwise the stops are very boring.

I mean - it's a drunk fest, and Carnival is the poverty cruise line, so go for it - not a bad way to spend $350

Better everything than Carnival and still a younger crowd than most other cruise lines. It's the way to go if you end up cruising.

What if we scrapped Misc Island and instead did Misc Cruise Line when Carnival eventually goes out of business?

Miscers could have entire wings to themselves. Plenty of room for everyone. Would probably end up blowing another pipeline
Entire NYPD should go on strike. You'll see then how quickly the mayor changes his tone.

I didn't like the cruise I went on. I do want to try a great lakes one though. I bet that could be fun.
