Whenever somebody talks about their tattoos

There always seems to be this air of regret in the way they’re explaining what the relevance of the tattoo is, especially if it’s like 5-10+ years old.

The novelty has long worn off and all that’s left is some aged picture permanently on their arm and they have to try to make it look convincing that they still like it.

There’s this awkward undertone, as if the person enquiring about the tattoo pity’s the inkcel, and the inkcel can detect it.

We’ve all made mistakes but inkies have a hard time hiding theirs. They have to be really good at acting as though the faded chit on their skin they got when they were young is somehow still a good idea.

Wonder if you’d say the same to a man who lost his friend in battle who saved his life, because his own life nobody knew him, no family... and the mans life who was saved knows he’ll fade that moment of a nightmare except the one person who allowed him to go back home to his family and change his ways

For him to look back when he’s older, and wonder how he changed and became a great man he never thought he’d become?

....Still think it’s a stupid, piece... of faded memory/regret? OP..?

yeah tats are 100% a way for people with no personality to get +1 charisma if they want it

tats can take a milk toast white dude from a 5 to a 6 or even 7 for some women srs so if you want to fukkboy max they're a pretty good way to do so

women (at least younger women from what I've seen) think tattoos are hot for some reason

cool tattoos that have meaning independent of stupid trends or something are legit imo, but most tattoos are terrible and look terrible

Tattoos are directly linked to mental illness

Let's be real something like this is the exception to the rule. 99% of tattoos are random chit. That argument is like saying abortion is good because women can get pregnant through rape.

This thread isn't even really about whether tattoos are good or not, just about the reaction inkcels have when having to explain the significance of their 10 year old faded sleeve.
