The More Clown World Goes On, The More it Enhances My Faith in Christ

I look at clown world and I just get disgusted. It repulses me - children preyed upon by groomers, deceitfulness, insecurity, just pure empty hedonism.

Then I look at what living a life for Christ entails - a purposeful life that upholds goodness and happiness. Following Christ is like following a guide through the jungle. Allowing me to bypass the poisonous snakes, quicksand, and other dangers.

Living a life for Christ makes it easy to avoid the pitfalls that succumbing to the modern world try to make everyone adapt. You aren’t controlled by false idols like money, sex, attention seeking behavior, and can put everything into its proper perspective.

The only path out of clown world is for everyone to turn back into Christ. There is no other option.

I agree. He is the bulwark of my battle in the spiritual realm, and He is at the vanguard of my walk in this physical world. When we choose Him, he dons us with his Spiritual Blessed Armor of Peace and Protection, which is more valuable than all the material possessions in this world.

It’s a process for sure.

I think one of the things that has helped me throughout my process, is having a strong friend group of other likeminded Christian men.

We hold one another accountable, not necessarily through words, but pushing one another to be the best we can to live our lives according to God’s will.

We all come on our own terms, that is how it goes.

That personal relationship with that Man up High, no Church can bring you there, nor any Man.. it comes from within the Heart. The Scripture makes a clear distinction between religion and the God head, what Eastern folk might call the Brahmin, that is Him too.

In fact I dare say the aggressive proselytization that goes on pushes people away, the message of Peace and Love and Forgiveness is stronger than the message of Condemnation, forced servitude and "you are going to Hell"

I'm not a Christcel, but I get your point and have somewhat similar feelings. So much of religion, and a lot of the various old ways that would be viewed as "heavy handed" or whatever now were...actually based and ways to help keep the unsavory aspects of human nature in check. Which...if you want a stable society, then it's pretty important to find some way to help do that.

Religion, while nowhere near fully successful at this, certainly seems to be one of the most effective ways of going about that.

Same, There is no other option where life feels worth living for if you don't put God first. I'm not surprised, more and more people are converting to Christians as clown world gets worst. It is said during the last days that God will call on its people toward him. Those that don't are deceived.

Actually its the worst.

Clown world is a direct result of mostly white evangelical GOP voters controlling the primaries. I actually find myself getting closer to my Christian ways as this year has gone by. I thought I was missing out by being FA in my younger years but hedonism and being of the world is a very long dark road. Turns out that I was actually doing things right as a "loser" who never got invited to parties or the club and spent his time doing "gay" things like going on nature hikes alone or reading. Used to judge myself for fapping 1-2 times a week but tbh that life was way more fulfilling then chasing bar whores, risking STDs, and spending money on overpriced alcohol. Just wanna give up sex/lust altogether tbh but once Day 4-5 of no fap hits...
