Looking for career advice (SRS) (REPS)

Been working for the past 3 years as a croupier.

The job’s okay, but doesn’t pay enough, the hours are ridiculous, and the work has become monotonous.

I’m really not sure where to go from here. I’m not a career-driven individual; never have been. Just want something stable that pays well and has normal work hours.

I didn’t go to uni because I originally wanted to join the Navy after graduating, but they turned down my application and I had no backup plan. So I just fell into the first job that came my way. I have some minor tertiary qualifications, but nothing significant enough to really be of any use.

I work utility natural gas. Make a little over 100k. Required 0 experience or degrees. Company trained me, provided new truck and tools. I get 6 weeks of PTO every year plus holidays off. It's not a bad gig.

How much do you get paid if you dont mind me asking? Croupier / games dealer in Aus is paid pretty well especially when you know all the games etc. Supervisors/Managers are easily on 100k in Aus.

Like 40k a year

I always hear people talk about casino workers getting good pay. I don’t know where this rumour comes from. I’m on $27.91 base rate, and yes we get paid extra on the weekends but it still doesn’t amount to much

Also I’ve never heard of supervisors/managers getting paid that much. Even pit bosses I don’t think are taking home 6 figures
