Gun Brahs! Is a Sports Afield gun safe a waste of money?

There's a sale for a "42 gun" safe. 55 inches high, 32 inches wide for $700. I understand Sports Afield doesn't make the best quality safes, and their keypads are apparently sh!t. I know I won't actually fit 42 guns in the safe.

However wanted to ask the misc what they thought about this deal? It it certified by the DOJ, and rated be be fire and water resistant too. (Ded fkn Srs)

Basically anything in a department store / sporting good store will top out at 12g. I bet that safe is like 16g. That's basically soda can thickness. lol. Tin snips would open it right up.

The Amsec BFX or some of the mid-tier Fort Knox safes are about the entry level for someone who has basic tools.
