Hold me tenderly - think I took a detour to snap city today
Was doing bent-over rows and on the second heavy set I lowered the weight too fast. Felt a small pop like a bubble wrap being popped in the lower-middle thpinal (had a belt on so braced) and now feels a bit sore. Hopefully just a small one and will be fine next week. The spinal reaper shows mercy to no-one.

Ayyylmao. Some top tips on how to not fuk up like me (btw, feeling much better than yesterday. I think I got lucky and it's just a bit painful but never had to lay down for 15 minutes and walk in 9/10 pain)
- In the eccentric phase, I let the bar come too far away from me when I was bent over. Bar should always go almost straight down towards your toes.
- Ego lifted 3x12 @ 245lbs, last week was 3x12@225lbs so decent jump whilst keeping reps & sets the same. I have done 3x12 @ 245 before but weeks ago when I had a small microbulk and was in a calorie surplus.
- Was thinking about the next rep before completing the snap city one so I lowered the weight too fast and yanked the back. Always be on point with the form and take it extra slow when going heavy.
Noobie mistakes. Reps all around off spread.
