That’s not how it works but they absolutely have contact with inter dimensional entities. Thousands of years ago it wasn’t a secret but now it is because they want to be the only ones who know how to use this power.

Yes.

They seem to worship some strange god that we dont know about.

Look at these oddball societies you hear about where they will do strange rituals. You would think there might be one lone nut doing it but there are whole groups of them doing it and they are always the elites.

I dont know what god it would be but something like baal or the like. Not sure but thats a guess seeing as he is named by our god in the bible.
