A newer one that was better than expected was Antler. Stupid name but actually pretty good movie. Saw it suggested by someone here and gave it a try. No regerts either.

I like You’re Next. Also Ready or Not isn’t bad. If you like horror/comedy Tucker and Dale vs Evil is a good movie.

Ready or not was fun. I enjoyed both Babysitters as well.
And Tucker and Dale vs Evil is great

Descent is legit one of the few basically all female cast movies I enjoyed.

You seem to be very knowledge in this topic.

Recommend me some scary movies.

I don't like paranormal bull****.

I prefer like "serial killer" or "monster in the woods" etc

They're old, and neither recommended in this thread so far, but...

1) The Entity (early-mid 1980s). I've never seen it, just haven't had the opportunity, but a longtime friend whose opinion I highly respect told me it was probably the scariest thing he ever saw.

2) I Spit On Your Grave (1970s). I saw this, and not so much that it was horror, not like spooky or technical thrills fear or anything, it was just downright HORRIFIC. To endure what the protagonist endured in that movie is really quite the definition of Hell.

lol the wife is all about horror so we’ve watched a lot.
Idk what it is about As Above So Below but I seriously love that movie.

I know a lot of misc brahs liked The Ritual which fits your second preference.
I actually dug the Unfriended movies too but the first hits the paranormal schtik. The second would be more up your alley, plus dark web stuff is fascinating to me lol

If anything else comes to me I’ll hit you up, it’s been a long ass day lol

Quite possibly the most horrific movie I've ever seen; the tone, ******ce, score, everything about it is unsettling

10/10 chance you will be gripping your chair in the dark from suspense alone

The Entity was decent. And although she is 74 now, Barbara Hershey was highly fukable back in the day.

I thought about putting I Spit On Your Grave on the my list but just like you I didn't really think it was really horror. And although she is 75 now, Camille Keaton was highly fukable back in the day. I wore out this VHS video in my early jack off stage of puberty, hahaha
