Why do some people enjoy waking up at 4am? srs

I don't see the point in getting up so early unless your job requires it. It's not like you couldn't wake up at a more normal time and get the same amount done+ you'll probably feel better since you're not trying to force an unnatural sleep cycle on yourself. Someone explain.

"I am like getting the feeling of cumming in the gym; I'm getting the feeling of cumming at home; I'm getting the feeling of cumming backstage; when I pump up, when I pose out in front of 5000 people I get the same feeling, so I am cumming day and night. It's terrific, right? So you know, I am in heaven."

Only get up that early for work, but I enjoy it. I never liked getting up early, but now I enjoy getting out of work early and still having daylight to do things.

Agree, also it ages you like crazy if you don't get enough sleep. 8 hours a day for health and aesthetic purposes.

People who do that are mind boggling.

I work so many random shifts I have no set schedule, wake up at 2100 one day, 0500 the next, maybe 1200 the following. Pretty much sleep when tired and awake when not.

If you're getting up at 4AM, you are either going to bed at 7-8PM, or you are depriving yourself of sleep. I'm not jelly of either of those things.

Sleep deprivation is legit the worst fukking thing, srs. It's literally like being hung-over drunk in broad daylight. I pulled weekly all-nighters in grad school, and the comedown from those while still having to work another full day was just about the chittiest feeling ever.

If you're sleeping short nights just to brag about "getting up at 4", you're not hustling, you're not grinding, you are straight-up ruining your own day before it even begins and slowly killing yourself. I'm not jelly of that for even a second.

I get up when I naturally wake. Sometimes that's 3am sometimes thats 745 (I feel worse if I lay in bed trying to fall back to sleep). Also, if my kids are already asleep and I'm tired then I go to bed. Go to bed anytime after 8pm and wake up sometime before 8am

Also, I don't brag about waking up early or make it part of my personality. My mind just jolts me awake. I can also fall asleep extremely fast

I can't imagine. It seems like the only people who seem to make good gains working out at 3-4am are all on the tech

Yeah lack of sleep is brutal on glow and gains.

Yeah. It's not like sleeping less hours makes you more productive either since the more tired you are the longer it takes for you to complete your work+ you have the added bonus of constantly feeling like chit.

I get up at 5 am......I do it because its more productive. Think about the general rule of thumb.....when the masses do X, you do Y. I am basically shifting my schedule so I don't have to deal with the masses. Pretty much intuitively did this my whole life. In my 20's when everyone would go out on Friday and Saturday night.....I would go out on Weds and Thurs.....to avoid the masses.

So i get up at 5 am, hit the gym or BJJ, out by 7 drive home, eat breakfast, hit my businesses related stuff at 730 am as EST stuff starts to open, work for a few hours to get what I needed done done..... go to lunch with my wife at 11 (before the cubicle crowd lets out) then have the rest of the day to do things id like to do while average joe is still at work. Grocery stores not packed, parks not packed, etc. If I waited till later the window for getting stuff done would be smaller. Id more than likely have to go to the gym when its crowded because the business window has to remain constant (catch them at the beggining of the day to check in etc) In the evenings I am coaching my boy's BJJ class.

Im in bed by 10 pm on most nights.

Yeah absolutely detest it, I have to get up at 4-5am every 10 days or so when I'm on an early shift at work, even though I finish at 2-3pm I have no motivation to do anything and am tired AF, can't function properly no matter how much sleep I get or how much caffeine I consume.

On my days off I don't get up to till 11am, sometimes 12-1pm srs but I feel fresh AF when I do.

Love my sleep crew.

I wouldn't say I neccasirly dislike my job but I don't love it either. I'm much happier and more alert when I'm on a late shift working from 3pm till 12am srs.

Even on occasions where I have to wake up really early for let's say a flight if I'm going somewhere nice on holiday etc I'm still miserable being up at stupid o'clock in the morning.

Your body is miserable for that flight because it is not used to getting up at that time. Trust me, lets say if you had to get up at 4 am every morning to cliam $10k and bang an HBB brazilian, your body would adjust in very little time.

I choose to work an early ass shift. I wouldn't say I enjoy waking up at 330am but I do enjoy getting half my workday (4 10s) knocked out before any bosses or coworkers come in. Also enjoy leaving work at ~130pm with lots of time to do whatever I want before going to bed and doing it again.

Some people get up early just to avoid people . This especially goes to going to the gym, hiking to popular crowded place, traveling , avoiding traffic .

the very simple answer is because they get elite quality sleep

I have been both people and it is 100% only when my sleep is on point that i love waking up before the sun rises. Otherwise i sleep as much as i can until i can't.

I typically get up at 4:30. Even if I'm not working out I enjoy doing things before work, like I watched a movie before going in late last week
