Will an all inclusive in Cuba suck ?

Going to Mexico in November, was thinking of doing Cuba for Xmas, but I’ve heard mixed reviews.

Any brahs been ? Thanks

Been to Havana, zapatas swamp area, Vinales and rural west areas. Would highly reccomend Vinales and any costal towns. Havana is kinda a dump and you can really see the failures of communism on display, but the culture and food and sight seeing is great.

Buyer beware. Had a friend who just got back from Cuba and their five star resort didn't have dairy, fruit and barely any alcohol. Their island is having major supply and delivery issues making it very hard to get anything so even the resorts are hardly able to keep stock. I'd avoid it until that improves.

Tbh most of the resorts look trash, may try Dominican instead.

I went to Cuba a few years ago, and once is enough. It was decent because I was with a group of 5 guys who were there to party and fuk girls(which we all did a lot of) but it's really not a great place for anything else. And it's not particularly cheap either.

The beach is the same or even better in the Mexican Mayan riviera, and they have proper infrastructure for tourism there and everything you may need. There's no reason at all to stay in a Cuban all inclusive resort vs a Mexican one. Unless you're very interested in Cuban culture or history, in that case you should visit but stay away from big resorts and try to find more local acomodation.
If you wanna have a resort style vacation just stay in Mexico. It will be 1000 times better.

Do yourself a favor and do the all inclusive in Jamaica. Just don’t leave the resort area.

Buddy of mine went. Basically, if you want to see a failed country, then go to Cuba. If you want to have a nice tropical vacation, there are much better options.
