Simple at its core. But as technology and society both progress, so to does the intellectual expectations and work ethic expectations of an individual. These things also change in how they are defined.

Think it was 2 days ago there was a thread about the "dirtiest man" who lived to be like 94 or something that died recently. He lived in a third world country, believed soap was bad for you, and from a high level uneducated view it seemed like he lived a simple life as a hermit doing whatever he pleased. As simple as a caveman.
