I've noticed with certain celebrities they are atheists until they succeed. Then they start to believe in God.

Most atheists are atheists because they're angry with life and/or angry with their father.

I'm atheist because it's patently obvious that humans invent Gods as a matter of course. That religion may be a positive force doesn't change that fact. I'm true to myself; believe what you know to be true - no cope.

I think that most reasonable people would think that there's 'something more' out there - heck, even science is currently working on that.

As for 'a god' or 'God' - this idea does not fit the mystical/yogic nor the scientific world view.

Primarily because we know about evolution and that the universe was not created for man, but for all life.

In science we call it survival of the fittest and evolution and in the mystical yogic sciences, we try and manage suffering as much as possible through careful intent and not being excessive and harmful towards life - all pretty basic stuff.

But Honestly I went from being atheist/agnostic to being a Christian simply because I took it upon myself to do my own research and answering my own questions and reading the Bible myself.

Christians have just been cucked and tricked into believing a false for of their own religion (all this applies to catholics too) and it is infuriating.

The Old Testament sounds nuts because our world is in such disarray and in such despicable shape that we've been convinced our current ways are normal. And when your entire existence has been christians not living a life based on their doctrine and pushing an entirely different version of it, it destroys the credibility.

Saw a debate between Sam Smith and JBP expecting Sam Smith to destroy JBP. The debate was free will vs. determinism. It was one of the worst debates I've ever heard and someone in the comment section asked a question of how does atheism explain good and evil.

I realized both my view and understanding of both sides of the argument (atheism vs creationism) was not good enough to have an actual opinion on the matter. I dove into both forms of understanding and their explanations of the world around us. This took a long time but I almost instinctively knew right away that God existed. My entire premise of religion was based on the idea that christians were retards and hypocrites (a lot of them were), religion was just for controlling man like cattle, and that my basic sky monster view of God was an ignorant take on something I really knew nothing about. Everything I thought about christianity was fed to me by atheists and people attacking it. So of course my viewpoint was against it. I thought it was logic vs. blind faith. The atheists were the smart logical thinkers and scientists and the christians were bible beat retards with the IQ of a potato (thanks hoilywood). Think Bill Maher's movie "religiousless."

After doing my own reading, research, listening and focusing on the entirety of both sides I realized logically I atheism is legit retarded and creationism at its core was correct (again this is an opinion and these statements were based on my logic and thinking).

Now it's so obvious to me but I get it. Everyone has their own view and is on their own path. I'm still lost tbh because christianity has failed because man has been corrupted and I can't even find a church to preach the Bible in any way or speak truth.

I'm an atheist, and it's not because I'm angry at anyone, in fact, my life is pretty great. It's not because I grew up not knowing my father, my parents have been married for 30 years and my father came home every night after work. It's not even because religious books don't make sense, which they don't, but obviously that's where faith comes in.

The reason I'm an atheist is simply because I cannot believe in god. I have tried, I want to, but I simply can. If a god does exist, and made me, then he alone knows why he made me this way. So either way I'm not worried, if there's a god, I'm good, he knows what he's doing, and if there isn't, I'm also good.

I just try to live my life in as positive a manner as I can, and try not to cause harms to others.
