I'd never heard of full synthetic jacket 9MM ammo before



The website says it doesnt recoil as much and doesnt gunk up your gun with residue. Looks like it's mostly for the range, rather than self defense.

Anyone ever use it?

The big 3 come out with gimmicks every few years. Even the gun manufacturers. Remember when the .300 WSM was the rage? Now it's the 6.5 Creedmore.

Those are great if you want to shoot steel closer than 20yds or so.

I know lead free is gaining traction for indoor use.

I've used frangible 5.56 before when we were training in shoothouses.

I think the syntech is for a similar use. Less chance of fragments coming back at you from steel targets.
