Going to Italy in April. What to do there?

Wife's dad is flying everyone to Italy.
Wine tasting and general family touristy chit I guess.

While its not my first choice of country to visit, any cool chit to do there?

Bit broad, Italy can be anything starting from chilling in Sicily, Tuscany or around Lake Garda and bumbling around in some tourist trap hellhole like Rome.

Italy is a big place. Wine tasting probably means you're headed to Tuscany. Florence is amazing, just make sure you get tickets to accademia early for the statue of David.

Lots of amazing art and ruins. Simply walking around the cities can be great. But it depends on where you are going.

You could see a soccer game. The atmosphere at European soccer games is supposed to be amazing.
