The production is a little too clean and shiny for me, I tend to like death metal recordings to be a little more lo-fi (not actually lo-fi, just more lo-fi than this) but for this particular style and this type of song, I can see how it makes sense in some ways too.

Their production has gotten better on the last few albums. Listen to In the Halls of Awaiting or Above the Weeping World for the harsh production. One For Sorrow is really harsh.

This sounds good too. Production feels a little flat though. But yeah awesome riffs.

Hmm, pretty decent. I've only really listened to Winter's Gate before, but I liked it a lot.

Thing that's killing me about this song is the drums sound so dead to me. Half expected them to be programmed by a non-drummer.
