Bums everywhere.... (rant... tired of this mickey mouse clown crap)

I can only imagine the left coast. Here in GA, just a lot worse than it has ever been. People have no shame. Every offramp from the highway, every other street corner, can't go into walmart every parking lot packed with bums asking for a hand out. "Homeless, hungry, anything helps, god bless" Went out to eat and this guy comes walking in saying he's out of gas and just needs a little so he can get home. Someone have him $5. Just imagine going out to eat with your family and some grown able bodied man interrupts your dinner to ask for a handout?

Unemployment low, everyone hiring, especially entry level jobs, and the labor participation rate is really low. There is no reason for it. They just don't want to work. I guess the only empathy I have is that I think the lockdowns/shutdowns from Covid really messed with a lot of people's heads and made them just give up all hope of every making it legit.

I think now a days we make sob story excuses for people's "circumstances"--putting the responsibility of self on "outside" influences.

There's not enough personal accountability in acknowledging that some people are chity, lazy ass people that chose that for themselves.

We've effectively infantilized people and gave them the excuse of being "victims of circumstance/environment" when they're victims of their own self-fulfilling chitty attitudes.

Don't get me wrong, some people had it hard and were dealt tough cards, I believe that. But I believe most people just spat at the opportunities that were given to them and I know this because I work with a lot of "vulnerable" people (homeless, decompensated drug users, mental instability/etc) who use their circumstances as a crutch to NOT change.

Can't even address this problem effectively because of this bullchit babying, my feelings attitude. You cant call a spade a spade. Would not choose to reproduce on this planet given the current culture/attitudes. Earth 2/10.

I just spent the entire weekend trying to find a small town to move to that doesn't have this problem in WA state.

Low crime, 24 hour large gym, decent selection of luxury apartments.

Supposedly, this is too much to ask for.

You literally can't even go anywhere near the cities on any day but Sunday without being approached by homeless and aggressive ppl wanting to start chit. Can't go to restaurants or stores either because customer service is so horrible. Its dystopian

I try to understand that some people grew up in terrible families or bad situations, once u become homeless its extremely hard to get off the street.

In my neighborhood there's a family asking for handouts. Its a wife, husband and baby trio. Sickening. Any man that has all his limbs shouldn't be asking for money when theres tons of jobs out there needing people. The people that give them money enable this behavior and they're doing a disservice to them.

On a side note. Rumor is that there's a underground business, that these private entities drop them off at high traffic locations, have them collect cash from the public, pick them up and collect. Easy money. Probably trade them drugs and a place to sleep as exchange.

A lot homeless have some form of mental illness. These people need legitimate help.


Mental illness is usually a flat % of the population. So unless there has been an explosion of mental illness, there are rational reasons for the increase. Probably along the lines of drug use,.

We almost never used to see bums/panhandlers in my town. Now they hang outside of the local Walmart, Home Depot, gas stations, and random medians of busy roadways shamelessly holding up signs begging for cash.

"Need $ for gas, anything helps, God bless!"

"Tired and hungry, need $, anything helps"

Or they walk up to you asking for cash for a bus ride, or some bullchit like that. ALWAYS for cash, they get pissy if you were to offer to buy them food or something (gee, I wonder why?). The VAST majority of them are clearly immigrants from South America or Mexico, too. This stuff used to be so rare here, and now it's and every day thing. Meanwhile, it's always able bodied people doing it, and there are still places hiring all around my area currently.

Can't stand it when they get aggressive and actually approach your car while trying to guilt trip you by starring at you while holding their sob story cardboard signs up while giving you the "helpless, lost puppy" look. Bonus points that bring my piss to a boil is when you see two able bodies parents in their 20's/30's with their kids there with them to increase the guilt tripping factor.

Unbridled materialism

Media
Complete and total corruption of our medical industry, from the bottom to the top

The most important one? Men have become weak. Strong men used to keep people in line. Now there are very few strong men left, and the ones that do piss on everyone else through corruption and have a "the fook you going to do about it" attitude. In turn, weak men turn to drugs or an easy way out. There's no personal accountability more, because everything is someone else's fault.

Men's mental health state has probably never been worse in American history.

This doesn't get fixed until strong men stand up for what is right. There are very few of us that actually do this anymore.
