2022 World Cup Thread

First matches begin on 11/20
First U.S. match is on 11/21

U.S.A. playing in the same group as England, Wales, and Iran.

The big matchup will be on 11/25 as the U.S. and England square off on Black Friday/Thanksgiving weekend.
Should do numbers.

At least games aren't at 2am in NA. Happy to see Canada get in, even if they only have a small chance of making it out of group play.

Looking forward to Brazil/Cameroon, UK/US, Spain/Germany and Argentina/Mexico in group play.

Brazil winning it all, but yeah the timing is awful except the USA England game which will draw huge views in the U.S.A

Other than that I don't think the casual viewer will bother to watch in the U.S. unlike if it was in the summer. They'll be watching college football, and NFL instead or basketball, hockey etc.

Competing against CFB/NFL is not gonna help US viewership.

Just saw the start times of the games in the States and North America fukking lmao at the first games being at 5 am no one is going to watch Qatar vs Ecuador and the opening ceremony at 5 am on a Sunday LOL.

At least the U.S.A. games for the most part are in the afternoon or 11 AM.
