Absolutely, dude didn't contribute much besides generic drumming which could easily be replaced

Look at his "musicianship" with Foo Fighters one of modern rocks worst acts that can go along the lines of Nickleback

No one really mattered but Kurt Cobain but even if he didn’t off himself, the Nirvana shelf life was going to expire soon

Lol bro im well aware. AiC is great. Nirvana isn't on their level. Cantrell and Staley had excellent harmony. Staley poured his heart into his songs and you could feel his emotions. Kurt cobain doesn't have the same effect.

There used to be a hilarious music magazine called Cream and they reviewed the last album by Nirvana.

I disliked Nirvana because they were a standard rock band that was trying to be punk, but were not, and they were druggies. Real punks are not druggies and their lyrics were not punk but frequently nonsensical so they had no message.

Anyway, I respected Cream Magazine a lot and they trashed Nirvana's last album.

Then, the dude blew his head off and everyone went wild about Nirvana, just because of the suicide. Cream started glorifying Nirvana and Cobain as being a genius and just before they said he was trash.

So, it was all fake bullsh!t.

It's the same as Heath Ledger in Batman. His Joker sucked and was like a pervert type, not a manic crazy person. However, after he died he was the best Joker in history and his performance made people weep, etc.

Nirvana would have faded out and broke up due to drugs and no one would remember them except for like one hit, had Cobain lived.

Dude Heath's Joker was great

Terrible take

Kurt had way more than one hit. If they broke up he'd still be getting interviewed and chit. But the way he was living he wanted to die young

You do not understand the Joker character then.

If you did you would not think the Joker in The Dark Knight was any good. It had nothing to do with what the character is supposed to be like.

Had he not died, there would be little interest.

He is obviously more talented musically over Kurt

I love AIC but nothing they ever did can match Nirvana Unplugged. Nutshell live is incredible, but AIC catalogue has its share of ****ty tracks. If you consider post Layne AIC to really be AIC you also see how **** their recent stuff is I don't remember if "Black Gives Way to Blue" is post layne but that album is ****ing ****. I am sure if Courtney Love didn't kill Cobain we would have seen some similar **** from him though

They already had hits before Grohl, Kurt was a legendary guitarist/writer/frontman, & Krist is an underrated GOAT bassist. So…yea…
