Are fireplace TV stands tacky?

Thinking of getting this for TV + Soundbar

I would LOL at your fake fire place if I saw it.

May as well just put on the fireplace screen saver.

Hard pass. Mount them both on the wall. Ideally 3 Martin Logan slm xl speakers. 1 on the bottom and both sides. Could add a small wireless sub and you’re set.

That design looks like it'll be out of style in a couple years. If you were putting it in a basement or something where you could use the heat I'd say go for it.
