If you needed another reason to hate Apple. Seems they only support 'freedom' in the west.

Countries have a right to defend their culture / society.

It's troubling that head honchos in California have the power to subvert and undermine foreign governments.

Apple only supports destroying our culture and society though. They have no problem maintaining the status quo in China.

Meh. I understand China's desire to have said firewall. The US uses so much manipulation and propaganda. If I were China, I'd do the same chit. Don't want to risk a fuking uprising in a 1.4 billion person country. Stability > freedumb.

Yeah it appears to have happened weeks before the protests were a thing, and the article says the change will soon become the global standard

Someone on Twitter there said this AirDrop function is a common attack vector, maybe those attacks are more common in China

That's not the original logo, but the designer of the current Apple logo says the bite was there for scale to ensure the apple wasn't confused with a cherry or something else when scaled down to fit on products
