He fired some twitter employees who posted tweets disagreeing with him on certain technical issues. Wasn't that suppression of free speech?

EU threatening to ban Twitter is really the pin drop for me because the entire time Twitter was censoring anyone critical of leftist politics the left were folding their hands and smugly saying "well it's a private business so they can do what they want" when it was clear that they were getting directives about the content that needed to be moderated (i.e. blocking the Hunter Biden laptop story two days before the election as "fake news" which turned out to be 100% real).

Well, now Twitter is saying that they aren't going to ban anyone and all of a sudden the government is telling them what consititutes allowed speech on their private platform or else the entire thing will get banned.

Really activates the ol' almonds.

It would be suppression if he deleted their tweets and banned them. He can fire whoever the hell he wants.

Meanwhile TikTok filled with Chinese spyware and used as a tool to dumb down the West is perfectly okay with them.
