IPAs are fuking disgusting

How the fuk do you people drink this ****, tastes like cold medicine. I'm convinced most people who like it are pretending to do so because its the cool thing to do. Fuk this **** and it taking up 90 percent of every beer shelf.

Lots of **** IPA out there for sure. A lot of dad types drink them because they are made sweet and 6-7+% alc. Low key alcoholism when you can get a solid buzz with 'just a couple beers honey'.

I like English style pale ales but generally think beer is for peasants and not worth the alcohol.

Most of them are pretty bad. I do enjoy like two brands. The high ABV without tasting like rubbing alcohol is the appeal for me. There’s only a couple that actually taste good though. For the most part they’re terrible.

90% of all beer is horrible. Ipas can be amazing and they can be really, really bitter and gross. The quality of the hops, type and combination plus a solid QA make a massive difference.

And you usually need small batches to make them right. Which is not found in groceries or many tap rooms.

I would legit love to find a n/a calorie free brew to knock back on occasion. But I'll be dammed if I'm downing 100+ calories a can and not catching a buzz, lol.

On days when I'm bbq'ng or at the beach or something like that where I feel like drinking all day, I'll pick up a case of Bud Select 55. Half the abv and calories of a normal light beer. Tastes like piss water compared to a proper beer but it serves it's purpose.

As far as full strength beers, porters/stouts/bocks/pilsners/literally any other style >>> IPA's. If I wanted to chew on a fkn pine log I would do so.

Whats your favorite pilsner? It's my favorite beer style. Actually anything from Germany or Belgian is legit imo. American craft beer I prefer stouts and cream ales.

Also the new IPA's are homosexual hipster beers that taste like oranges. Traditional English IPA's have been around for hundred of years. The hops were put in there to preserve the beer when being shipped long distance, it just added to the flavor as well. The OG IPAs were never meant to be drank superfresh. I still like OG non juicy IPA's like Dogifsh 60 and 90, Tor****, Ruination...I loathe these new ones that all taste like orange or grapefruit jucie.
